Environment day was celebrated on June 5th 2011 by the tiny tots of Prep. Preparation for the same started two weeks back where in children collectively did a project on best of waste and displayed on the display board. Teachers explained to the students the importance of neat and clean environment for a healthy and happy life.
Importance of trees was explained and students made book mark of the shape of a tree which they enthusiastically kept between the pages of a book. They were made to colour sheets which said Sow and Grow. All the students took pledge to save trees, plant more trees, and keep their surroundings clean.
