Later in the afternoon, it was the turn of the school officials to attend the workshop. Dr. Padmam highlighted ‘teaching’ as an activity designed and performed for multiple objectives in terms of changes in pupil’s behavior. |

A teacher has many roles to play in the life of the students and needs to focus on her potentials, her conceptual, teaching and personal skills. She must ensure confidentiality and do her utmost to reduce conflict. Be a good friend and be generous in giving ‘strokes’ and rewards to the students whenever required. One must do away with punishment. Teen-aged students must be dealt with understanding, love and unconditional regards. They should be helped to identify stress and taught ways to cope with it. Effective learning and teaching will ultimately pave the way to right decision -making skill, inspire and generate solutions for difficult problems. |

The workshop concluded successfully with words of gratitude to resource person Dr. Razeena Padmam, senior Activity coordinator Ms. Mou Bera and Ms. Bindu Saleem for kind support in making the workshop a success. |
