DPS-MIS Winners in WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2011 Painting Competition

DPS-Modern Indian School students participated in WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2011            PAINTING COMPETITION organized by International Academy for Intercultural Development (IAID) in association with Friends of the Environment Centre (FEC). Initiated by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), WORLD ENVIRIONMENT DAY Celebrations in Qatar is a special event under the auspices of Dr.Saif Ali Al Hajari, Vice Chairman of the Qatar Foundation and in his capacity as Chairman of Friends of the Environment Centre (FEC).

WED is celebrated every year all over the world on the 5^th of June with the aim to increase environmental awareness and social responsibility of the community for significant global action towards sustainable developments. The winners are as follows:
