DPS-Modern Indian School wins laurels at INDIA QUIZ

DPS-MIS teachers Ms. Shibanti Bhowmik and Ms. Naaz Hafiz won the second prize at the prestigious INDIA QUIZ Qatar Edition. They received a prize of Rs. 30,000 and a Gold Medal each, sponsored by Birla Public School.

The INDIA QUIZ saw an overwhelming participation with 150 teams registering for the contest. After a rigorous elimination round of 30 questions, six teams made it to the finals. DPS-MIS team were the top scorers in the elimination round.

The DPS students’ team comprising Rakshit Akshay Jha and Soahum Gokhal also made it to the final six, and were given a special prize, for being the youngest team in the finals.

The finals saw the DPS-MIS teachers in a tie with another team, that was resolved with a tie breaker and DPS-MIS scored second in the contest. The quiz master Kannu Baker asked a variety of questions ranging from History, Civics, Science, Art, Music etc.,

DPS-MIS President Mr. Hassan Chougule was also present on the occasion. Interestingly, the winner of the Quiz Mr. Srinath Menon is the father of DPS-MIS students Shweta and Shraddha Menon.
