DPS-MIS participated in World Hindi Diwas

 

DPS-Modern Indian School participated in World Hindi Diwas organized by Embassy of India, Doha and held recently at the Indian Cultural Centre.

Chief Guest H.E Ms. Deepa Gopalan, India’s Ambassador to Qatar read out the message of the Prime Minister of India to the nation on Hindi Diwas. Also present for the occasion were distinguished guests, DPS-MIS President Mr. Hassan Chogule, students and teachers.

The importance of Hindi Language was the highlight of the day’s programme. Many competitions were held with participants from the Indian schools in Qatar.

DPS-MIS student Rakshit Akshay Jha of Class XI secured Second Position for On-the-Spot speech contest.

DPS-MIS teachers from the Hindi Department Mr. Sudhakar Mishra (HOD), Ms. Shailja, Ms. Vidyottama Pandey and Ms Shantha J (Academic coordinator) represented the school along with students and parents.

The programme concluded with a photo session.
