'Bazm-E-Alig Inter-School Debate Competition'

Bazm-e-Alig, Alumni Association of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, Qatar Chapter, will organize its annual "Bazm-e-Alig Inter-School Debate Competition" on 15.11.2012 and 16.11.2012.

Please note the following:
 
Junior Category: Classes V and VI
  
  Topic: Are test scores a good indication of a school's performance?
       
 
Senior Category: Classes VII to XII
  
  Topic: Oil has been more of a curse than a blessing for Middle East.
       
  • Students who are interested to audition for this competition should register their names with their English Teacher on or before 11.10.2012.
  • For the audition, students have to speak on the topic (either 'for' or 'against' the motion) for 4 to 5 minutes. Students are encouraged to come well-prepared for the audition and are strongly discouraged from reading out their speeches or referring to any written material.
  • For Senior Wing students, the auditions will be held between 15.10.2012 and 18.10.2012 during school hours.
  • Junior Wing students will be informed of the audition date by their class teacher.

Since the organizers have revised the date of the event, please ignore the dates mentioned in the attached poster.
