Community Policing Delegation, Ministry of Interior, visits DPS MIS

COMMUNITY POLICING DELEGATION, MINISTRY OF INTERIOR, VISITS DPS-MIS!

A high-level Community Policing delegation from the Ministry of Interior visited DPS-Modern Indian School on the 5th of February, 2012 and interacted with the students of the senior wing. Through an audio-visual presentation, students understood that community policing underlines the joint responsibility of community members and law enforcement agencies to prevent crime in an amicable manner. The presentation concluded with an energetic interactive question-answer session with the students who were also motivated to start a community policing club to spread awareness about this concept. The school was also invited to visit the Security Department and learn more about its operations.
