DPS-MIS integrates SMS Facility

DPS-Modern Indian School has recently tied up with QTEL for integration of SMS facility to further strengthen its 24 x 7 online process. The aim of this facility is to enhance better, quicker and instant communication with parents using bulk SMS facility.

The School has for the last 5 years satisfactorily completed activities on the school portal. This has been made accessible to the students integrated with the student’s login page. The activities included better communication between students, parents and the school with regards to information, Notes and assignments, circulation of notices and announcement of various school events, solving students’ queries and providing them 24 x 7 online help.

The active function of the school portal has brought down the usage of paper based processes to zero and at the same time optimized the various other processes which can be executed efficiently through an IT integrated process platform.

The School has also added a free access to ‘eduXgen – A three-dimensional self-learning platform’ for 1 hour per week for the students of classes I to XII through its portal www.dpsmisdoha.com

The SMS facility was formally inaugurated on 25th May 2009. Present for the inauguration were DPS-MIS President Mr. Hasan Chogule, Principal Ms. S. Mattu, Headmistress Ms. Vinaya Jaydev and Academic Coordinators.
