DPS Modern Indian School’s
‘Commerce & Entrepreneurship Club’ conducted the 1st ever edition of the
entrepreneurship event ‘Pitch Perfect - An Entrepreneurship Event on
Sustainability’ on 26th September at 10.15 AM. The event aimed to
inculcate entrepreneurial interest at the grassroots level among the
youth. The event was openly participated by the students from grades
VI-XII. The ceremony was graced by the elegant presence of the Chief
Guest, Mr. Yasir Nainar, Vice President DPS Modern Indian School, Mr.
Akshat Agarwal and Ms. Poojita Mishra, Events and PR Head of
Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay, esteemed members of the executive
committee, Principal Ms. Asna Nafees, Vice Principals Ms. Soma
Bhattacharjee, Ms. Mary Cruz and Ms. Shifa Shaikh, Academic Coordinator
XI-XII Ms Rakhi Mishra, teachers and aspiring entrepreneurs. |

Youth populations in nations like China and India are
multiplying, including rapidly increasing unemployment rates. Our
aspiring entrepreneurs hold the key to their future. DPS-Modern Indian
School is actively promoting entrepreneurship as these young
entrepreneurs take up on this challenge and develop business concepts
that have the potential to address numerous global issues. They
described their innovative ideas for various goods, services, and
applications. They brought many contemporaries ideas, harnessing our
modern-day marvels like solar panels and biotechnology to contribute
significantly to keeping the planet clean and advancing sustainable
development. |
In conclusion, encouraging youth entrepreneurship
programs not only cultivates students' curiosity but also provides them
with vital entrepreneurial skills. This forward-thinking generation,
inspired by the attitude of hard work and commitment, can solve and
anticipate many of the critical challenges confronting countries today.
By doing so, they pave the way for a better and more prosperous future,
not only for their nations but for the global community. |
