The QatarDebate BP Open tournament recently unfolded
its riveting chapters on September 29 to 30 at the prestigious Qatar
University. With a total of 40 teams participating, the event showcased
a remarkable pool of talent and intense competition. |

Representing DPS Modern Indian School, a beacon of
debate excellence, were five formidable teams, Team-Mehull Girdhar and
Daiwik Dhar, Team-Abhimanyu Gupta and Daksh Parashar, Team-Govind
Krishna and Vyusti Singh, Team-Prithwiraj Purkait and Archit Chhikara,
Team-Ishant Datta and Mukunth Madhavan left an indelible mark in the
tournament. |
Amidst this challenging arena, the debaters shone
brightly, securing the title of the Best School Team. Daiwik Dhar and
Mehull Girdhar, representing DPSMIS, not only clinched the title for the
Best School Team but also earned the prestigious 5th position in the
open category, a testament to their exceptional debating skills. |
Individually, Daiwik Dhar was not just the Best School
Speaker but also an outstanding contender in the open category, ranking
11th among participants. Furthermore, five other DPS speakers, namely
Mehull Girdhar (2nd), Prithwiraj Purkait, Archit Chhikara, Vyusti Singh,
Abhimanyu Gupta, and Daksh Parashar (all ranking 3rd), showcased their
exceptional abilities, securing positions in the top 5 school speakers
category. |
The QatarDebate QD BP Open not only witnessed fierce
competition but also celebrated the spirit of debate, intellectualism,
