Paper Tearing activity

Learning through creative activities is very effective and full of fun.

On  21st and 22nd May,2012 the children of Class-I had a Paper Tearing activity, which involved tearing of coloured papers into tiny pieces and then sticking  on   pictures of vehicles, forming a lovely collage work. It was actually integrated with the lesson ‘Means of Transport’, so as to reinforce the knowledge on this topic. Besides, this particular activity helped in developing fine motor skills, by strengthening the child’s muscles and improving hand-eye co-ordination. The children thoroughly enjoyed using their bare hands to create skillful pieces of art.
