Class IV - Labour Day Assembly

The students of DPS-MIS of class IV had a special assembly on 1st May in order to celebrate the Labour Day.  The assembly began with a prayer which was related to the labours. It was followed by a thought and news.  The bond of togetherness and the strength of unity were depicted through different roles played by the students who were dressed up like Gardener, Guard, Carpenter, Mason, Iron-worker, Tradesman/Craftsman, Heavy Equipment Operator, Bus Driver, Cleaner, Plumber and Farmer. They emphasized that it is labour indeed that puts the difference in everything and without labours, nothing prospers. Principal Ma’am addressed the students and explained the importance of labours and how to respect them. She appreciated the efforts put in by the students. The students who’d received medals in “English Olympiad”, an external exam were honored on this occasion.
