DPS MIS STUDENTS WIN PRIZES AT LITERARY AESTHETICA 2012
DPS Students win prizes at the Inter-School Competition – ‘Literary Aesthetica’  conducted by Al Khor International School [Indian Stream] on Thursday, 7 June 2012. Students from 9 different schools participated in 4 categories – Poem Recitation, Prepared Speech, Dramatic Poetry and Extempore.

Cynthia John of Class XII D secured the first position in Dramatic Poetry category portraying Cleopatra in her death scene. Her monologue moved the audience and members were carried away by a sense of awe at her performance. Ayesha Khan of VIII F got the third prize in Prepared Speech category. Her topic was the pros and cons of replacing school textbooks with computer notebooks.
 
Hena Anwar and Vatsal Patel also put in their best in the Poem Recitation and Extempore categories respectively. Principal, Ms Asna Nafees, congratulated the students on their achievements.
