| The Computer Club started of the year with an enthralling class on
the Basics of Robotics on 18th May 2023. |
| It talked about the EV3 robotics kit by LEGO. It is an easy to use
robotics kit consisting of a Brick, Sensors, Motors and other essential
parts. The EV3 Classroom software was also part of the discussion. The
“EV3 Classroom Lego Education v1.5.2” software makes it easy and fun to
program the robots. This is due to the fact that it uses blocks to
program (Similar to scratch). |

| The members of the club were excited and interested as they were
introduced to the realm of robotics which was completely new to them.
They had heard of it before but never had the chance to learn it. They
learned about the crucial components that every EV3 robot must have. Eg:
Brick & Motors. |

| To end on a joyous and exciting note, the directors organized a Q/A
session to make sure everyone is on the same page and that their
questions and concerns were answered. Afterwards, they discussed the
success of the meeting and what can be improved. |

| The meeting was organized by directors of computer club, Aaditya
Shukla, Aayush Rajagopalan and Pragati Krishna. The club hopes to
continue holding successful and informative meetings with feedback from
its members. All directors are grateful for constant support from the
school and teachers. |
