DREAM RUN FOR DPS MIS AT QATAR DEBATE

The fourth Qatar debate SAQR league saw a scintillating performance by DPS-Modern Indian School debate teams as all the three best team trophies were bagged by the school’s three debating teams. The number one team comprised D. Apoorva, Sonali Tiwari and Pranav Karthik. The number two team comprised Vane Swetah,Vatsal Patel and Tabish Khan whereas team three comprised Deeksha Singh, Dhruv Relwani and Farah Khan.

Dhruv Relwani was adjudged the best speaker of the tournament while all the other eight speakers figured in the top fifteen best speakers list and secured medals. Vijay Bhardwaj and Krupa Modi completed their judges training.The students debated on a variety of topics such as “Women being better as leaders”, “Education vs job experience”, “Division of Sudan” etc. Four rounds of debating was a real test of the speakers general knowledge, oratory skills and analytical bent of mind. The school coach Ms. Naaz Hafiz feels that with this win DPSMIS has proved once again that they are a force to contend with in the Qatar debating arena. The school Principal Mrs.Santosh Mattu has expressed complete satisfaction with the team performance and heartily congratulated the students.
