DPS faculty completed 15 hours of virtual ‘Beginners’ Judges Training’ in 4 different sessions conducted by Qatar Debate on October 25,27 and November 8 along with the participant’s from other institutions of Qatar. The Resource person Ms. Amanda Chan explained the guidelines of being a good judge, speaker’s role, Debate format, motion analysis etc. The participant got a chance to debate to get a practical knowledge of the format.

There was a practical session on the day of Qatar School Debate League -I for Boys on 30^th October 2021. Being a shadow judge the attendee gained hands on experience in judging. The session helped to understand the different perspectives of judgement and be equipped with the strategies to impart constructive feedback.

The interactive session was fruitful and informative.
