senior debaters of the debate club and their coach, Ms Jaya Majumder.
The workshop was conducted as part of the training series for the Qatar Schools
Debating League-II for boys and girls. The motion for the debate was “This
House Believes That South Korea should give up on the act of seeking
reunification with North Korea” followed by a feedback session where Samiksha
laid out tips and techniques to help the debaters strengthen their case.
The debate was between Team- Abhimanyu Gupta of IX-B, Devnarayin Bipin Menon of
IX-C and Kenil Gandhi of IX-C on Proposition against Team- Azhar Jaleel
Mohammed of X-C, Mubeen Sakharakar of XI-I and Govind Krishna of IX-E on Opposition.
Samiksha, the judge, was assisted by Victoria Apolonio Honoridez of XI-I as the
timekeeper. After a competitive and intense round, team Opposition bagged the

The workshop concluded with valuable feedback provided by Ms Samiksha, which genuinely
helped the debaters strengthen their cases for the upcoming championship. The

enjoyed.
