7th Doha Open Tennis Championship, held in February 2004, organized by Qatar Tennis Federation.

  • Lizera Valany Vaz IV A secured second position in under 10 years girls category.
  • Pradeep KrishnaKumar VI B received consolation prize in under 12 years boys category.

School Tournament in under 10 years category held at Khalifa International
Tennis Complex from 17th to 25th May 2004.

 Gaurav S.Newalkar V A bagged First position in Dana Club Open Tennis
Tournament in under 10 years category and also Pranay Pravin III C, SabariRam III D, Sutej III D and Sai Vighnesh V A received consolation prizes in the same tournament in June 2004.

Table Tennis:
v Geetika Saksena (VIC), Subha Ramkrishnan (VIA), Lizera Valany Vaz (VA) and Khyati Rajvanshi (VB) secured second position in Under 13 Girls Inter-School (Expatraite) Table Tennis Tournament organized in the school on Feb.6, 2005.
v Vibutesh Ravissankar (VIA), Aashik Ranjit Sekharan (VIA), Pradeep Krishnakumar (VIIA), and Rajvardhan Singh (IIIA) secured third position in Under 13 Girls Inter-School (Expatriate) Table Tennis Tournament organized in the school on Feb.6, 2005.
v Geetika Saksena VI C got 1st position in 8 to 13 years Girls Table tennis singles category, Gayatri Ravisankar IX A and Nikhita Sarathy VIIIB got 1st position in 13 to 18 years Girls doubles category and Vibuthesh Ravisankar VIA and Aashik Ranjit Sekharan VIA were runner up in 8 to 13 years Boys Table tennis doubles category at ICC-Galaxy Indoor Sports held on February, 2005.

 Our School Table Tennis Team (Pradeep KrishnaKumar VII A, Neil Leander D'Souza, Vibutesh Ravisankar and Aashik Ranjit Sekharan VI A secured Third position in 13th Inter School Expatriate Boys under 13 years Table Tennis Tournament held on 28th January 2004 at DPS MIS.

Carrom:
v Geetika Saksena VIC came 1st, Abeer Islam VIA and Lester Fernandes VIIB were runner up in 8 to 13 years category in carrom girls Singles at ICC-Galaxy Indoor Sports held on feb,2005.

Chess:
v Prashant Somanathan VIB came 1st in Boys under 13 years category in Chess at ICC-Galaxy Indoor Sports held on Feb, 2005.
v Akshata Ramakrishna Prabhu VA and Nivedita Anant Talekar IXB stood Runner up in Girls Chess competetion at ICC-Galaxy Indoor Sports held on Feb, 2005.

  • Dinesh Baulraj VII B received consolation prize in 10 - 13 years Boys category.
  • Arathy Ahok Nair VIII B also received consolation prize in 14 - 16 years Girls category.

  • B. Sreevatsan IV C awarded NIIT Rolling Trophy for being Best player in 9 years and below category.
Cricket:
v DPS-MIS Cricket Team participated in Inter School (Expatriate) Sports Meet on Feb.15, 2005. The team put in their best and bagged the Third Position. The team members were:
Yashvardhan Mehta-VIC, Pradeep Krishnakumar-VIIA,Amol Sinha-VIIB, Rishi Rakesh Gupta-VIIIA, Sh.Asif Iqbal-VIIIB, Haffaz Mohammad Sattar-VIB, Anirudh Rajaram-VIA, Srikrishna Narayanan-VIA, Anshuman Sahoo-VIIB, Sarthak Garg-VIIA, Mit Jawahar Patel-VIA, Christopher S. Chandy-VIB, Aashik Ranjith Sekharan-VIA, Lester Colin Fernandes-VIIB and Melchi Milton Shaju-VIB.
Karate:
v Karan Rakesh (class IV) and Kriti Bhargava (class IX) have been awarded the Black Belt in Karate from Sho Shin Kan Karate Dojo in February 2005. Both have been trained by Mr. Rensie Sajeevan for over 5 years.

Hockey:

v

 Prashanth Somanathan VI B, Mohamed Azaan Nazer IV A and Karan Rakesh IV B were members of the Gateway Red Hockey Team which finished runners up in the Hockey Tournament, organized jointly by Gateway Qatar Hopckey Club and the Qatar International School, held at QIS indoor ground.

 Pradeep KrishnaKumar VII A, Sandeep KrishnaKumar IV A, Akshya Budhiraja VII A and Rashmit Singh IV A represented the Gateway White Hockey Team who were runners up at the Falcon Club Exhibition match.
