THE NINE PLANETS BY KHYATI SETH VIII D I learnt about the nine planets In my geography lesson Let me introduce you to these Nine children of the sun. Mercury is the closest to the sun It must be feeling very hot It should carry an umbrella To avoid getting sun spots Venus is the brightest one She must be topping in her class I wonder if she will teach me How in maths I can pass Planet earth is our mother She showers us with love and care But we children behave badly Polluting her land, water and air. Mars is the red planet It looks like a red ball Jupiter is the biggest It is the king of all. Saturn looks like a queen Surrounded by her rings There she stands after Jupiter the majestic king. Uranus and Neptune Oh they are twin brothers, Pluto, a planet no more Poor guy he will get bored. | ||
