guidlines
- 1. The exhibition will be held in the month of January 2013.
- 2. Students belonging to Classes III to V will come under junior category and students belonging to Classes VI to X will be under senior category.
- 3. This will be a competition based exhibition, where the students will be competing class-wise.
- 4. Student participation is voluntary.
- 5. Under each category the student can exhibit static models (group or individual) or working models (group or individual).
- 6. Each and every Model must be accompanied by a chart/ book report/flash cards.
- 7. Individual and group projects will be evaluated separately.
- 8. A student can be part of only one exhibit.
- 9. A group will comprise of not more than 3 students.
- 10. Exhibits will be provided with one table space (class room table space); no extra space will be provided.
- 11. Students have to register themselves for the competition. Registration forms are available on the web site.
- 12. Last date for submission of the registration forms : 05 – 12 – 2012
- 13. Projects will be judged under the following heads – concept, structure, application, utility and innovation.
- 14. Charts should be hand drawn and hand written and professional work will not be given credit rather the
work done by the student will be appreciated and evaluated.
- 15. All entries will be displayed in the exhibition QUEST -2013.
- 16. A minimum of four entries must be there under a particular category to consider it for the competition.
NOTE: The organized exhibition will be inspected by SEC members. The best selected projects will be exhibited in
the Qatar National Student Research Fair (2012-2013).
The exact date of exhibition will be announced in the month of January, but all participants are requested to be ready with their projects by 15th January 2013.
PARTICIPANTS SHOULD AVOID THE FOLLOWING IN THE PRESENTATION:
- 1. Mobiles and laptops.
- 2. Overhead projectors
- 3. Extra table.
- 4. Models which are not useful for the presentation.
- 5. Inappropriate pictures or advertisements.
- 6. Dangerous items, expensive items and toxic items.
